Break-Dancers Kick Off Simpsons Game

The release of a new video game is, for some, the kind of great news that would make Snoopy dance. But since the game in question is inspired by another, edgier cartoon, Electronic Arts Inc.’s The Simpsons Game, the October 30 launch at the Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood was celebrated by three break-dancers instead, who seemed to defy gravity on outdoor and indoor stages while garbed in Simpsons-yellow T-shirts.

Naturally enough, the rest of the entertainment was provided by The Simpsons Game, which was loaded on consoles that circled the bar. Gamers kept up their strength with mini burgers, crudités, and chocolate chip cookies. Ardent fans took photographs with brave souls in Homer and Bart Simpson costumes throughout the evening. Plumbago Productions produced the event, and Entertainment Fusion Group handled the PR and celebrity wrangling.
