There are charity 10Ks, and then there are charity 10Ks that you run in your underwear. Or at least there's one of those, and it was Saturday's City of Hope Underwear Affair, a 10K run and 5K walk in the vicinity of the La Brea Tar Pits. The race, presented by Jockey, benefitted progress toward cures for what organizers call "cancers below the waist," which include prostate, colorectal, uterine, and ovarian. About 1,000 participants ran in their underwear or costumes. The program also included a sponsor-tent area and after-party known as "EXPOsed," where a costume contest took place after the race.
