Robert Arbor, the owner of Le Gamin cafes, has joined the food truck fray, with Le Gamin Mobi, bringing casual French cafe fare to the streets—and to events. The new roving food service offers the restaurant's signature sweet or savory crepes and sandwiches, and can also prepare grill favorites like hamburgers, as well as espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and tea. Menus may also be customized. Starting cost for the truck is $1,000 for the first three hours and $250 for each hour afterward; food costs start at $10 per person. The mobile unit can visit locations throughout the five boroughs.
