The Event Leadership Institute needs your help.
Are you interested in helping inspire the next generation of event professionals without leaving the comfort of your studio or office? The Event Leadership Institute is looking for event professionals to be guest professors for its online courses. E.L.I.'s new approach to event education combines video learning with a practical live salon hosted at an event pro's office for students who want real-world exposure to how everything really works.
Under the new model, participants will watch instructional online videos taught by the course director in advance of each class. The in-person instructors, which E.L.I. calls "salon leaders," will use class time for discussing the key concepts learned online and how to apply them to various real-world scenarios, utilizing case studies of actual events. By not having to teach every concept from scratch, salon leaders also have time for more field trips, guest speakers, group projects, and exercises.
