The evening started with a cocktail reception at the Wang Theatre. The Catered Affair handled catering, and passed appetizers included Brie, pear, and almond phyllo flowers; fried olives stuffed with sausage and goat cheese; and mini steak frites.

During dinner, entertainers performed on a small, round stage set atop the larger stage. The performance included operatic songs and an act from aerialist Rachel Lancaster.

The first dinner course was a deconstructed salade nicoise with seared ahi tuna and caper vinaigrette. The main course was beef short rib bourguignon, and dessert was colorful French macarons.

Inspired by the evening's production of La Traviata, dancers from Touch Performance Art dressed as French courtesans and danced in the streets as guests moved from the dinner to the performance.
