While the final curtain was going down on Broadway's Les Miserables, the Rink Bar at Rockefeller Center was getting a makeover for the long-running show's closing party. Tents went up and bright lights came out to celebrate the show and allow producer Cameron Mackintosh to thank the cast and crew that worked on the show during its 16-year run.
Tobak-Dantchik Events & Promotions produced the event, and created an atmosphere for mingling with a spacious dance floor (where guests sang and waltzed to the show's song "One Day More" at the end of the night). See Factor Industries illuminated the interior with bright, roving lights, and projected an image of the character Cosette next to the Prometheus statue outside. More roving lights and images of Cosette were projected onto the buildings surrounding Rock Center.
The party's decor went without props from the show, but did imitate the set's rustic French look. Susan Edgar Designs covered the tent poles in ivy and created simple centerpieces with more ivy and candles. On buffet tables, Restaurant Associates used copper chafing dishes and raw wood baskets to serve food from a hearty French menu.

For Les Miserables' closing party at the Rink Bar at Rockefeller Center, See Factor Industries projected a large image of the character Cosette next to the rink's waterfall and Prometheus statue.

The tented rink was illuminated with bright, roving lights by See Factor Industries.

Susan Edgar Designs decorated the tents with elements inspired by the show's French roots, like ivy, candles and red, white and blue balloons.

In the restaurants surrounding the rink, Edgar placed candles in large aquariums and covered them with ivy.
