A record 800 fashion-forward people attended this year’s red-carpet gala to honor Canadian talent making waves in the global fashion industry. TV personality Jessi Cruickshank hosted the event, which was sponsored by Rogers Communications, Joe Fresh, and Ravel by CF, a shopping analytics firm. Next: Spring 2020

Young designers were scheduled to be in the spotlight on opening night this September when the event returned to the ATB Financial Art Barns in Edmonton. Breakfast Television and Avenue magazine were the media sponsors. New this year: Western Canada's preeminent fashion happening branched out, adding one day in Calgary. Next: September 2020
