Los Angeles-based photography collective Docuvitae began offering its take on a classic photo booth this year: Guests pose in front of a white or logo-covered backdrop, where photographers snap their mugs digitally and send them home with prints. Or, guests can take their own shots using shutter release cords on vintage cameras, and Docuvitae will make prints from negatives and mail them later. Laura Kleinhenz—a photographer with a decade of photojournalism experience for big-time publications like Time and Newsweek—assembled the collective of photographers, who specialize in documentary-style work, two years ago. They’re also available to shoot events events in digital, 35-millimeter, and vintage film formats. —Alesandra Dubin
