Call for Submissions: BizBash’s Best of 2011/Year in Review

The BizBash editors are working on the annual “Best of” story for the magazine and Web site, and we’re looking to include insights and commentary from readers and other industry thought leaders.

We plan to publish several short essays, as well as comments in other formats, as part of this package.

Interested in contributing? Please submit a short summary (150 words at most) of what you’d like to write about here. What innovations and trends have had the biggest impact on the event and meeting industry? How will they impact the industry in 2012? We want you to express your unique take on everything from the economy, new technologies, new engagement strategies, the advancement of social media, and sustainable practices.

We’re interested in strong opinions and specific takes on what you’re seeing in the industry. We’re not interested in commercial pitches for your products or services.

Please submit your ideas by 5 p.m. (E.S.T.) on Monday, September 19.

We’ll review the submissions and contact people who we’d like to flesh out their ideas further. (And yes, we know it’s a bit early in the year for this, but this is how magazines work.)
