New Source for Eco-Friendly Outdoor Furniture Rentals Made in Southern California

New from the folks behind Green Lab Design Studio (although an altogether separate venture) is Icon Event Rentals, a new furniture rental company offering what it bills as luxury outdoor pieces. Rental items include seating, coffee tables, side tables, dividers, vases, and umbrellas. The aesthetic is minimalist.

Icon also aims to strike a competitive price point, with all furniture and accessories under $300 per piece. The pieces are built using eco-friendly processes, and the company has won approval from Green America and gold certification from GenGreen, among other environmental accolades. The items are built locally in Southern California, and are designed in-house for a distinctive look.

"We will be staying away from your typical granola eco-style and approaching the industry with luxury Italian-inspired design," said Icon co-founder Chris Courtemanche of the new venture.

The company's official launch date is July 11.
