Veuve Clicquot, the official champagne of Design Miami, went mobile with its inaugural Clicq'Up Cafe Lounge and Champagne Bar for this year's fair. On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week, the brand turned up in and around Miami's Design District, with a food truck and pop-up lounge. To spread the word, women donning Veuve Clicquot sunglasses rode around town on Veuve Clicquot-yellow-hued bikes, telling the public about the pop-up and handing out maps to show where the lounge would be each day.
The truck, also covered in yellow, sat adjacent to a champagne lounge decorated with furniture rentals by Just to Please You and branded items such as pillows, umbrellas, and origami vases and ice buckets. Spanish chef Jeremiah created the truck's menu, which included chipotle cream corn cakes, curry pork tacos, and conch salad. Visitors paired their food with the champagne.
