Atlantic City casinos offer more than just poker tables and slot machines—plentiful spas provide a variety of ways to treat a client or team. Here are four options:
1. In June, Caesars Atlantic City opened the Qua Baths and Spa at Caesars, a 16,000-square-foot facility modeled loosely on traditional Roman baths. Designed with an earthy feel, the spa is accented with wood, tile, and stone features as well as backlit panels of grass. Fourteen treatment rooms are available here, including Roman baths, a sauna, and areas for massages and body and facial treatments.
2. The Larimar Salon & Spa at the Pier Shops at Caesars provides Aveda’s signature services and products, and offers its entire space to corporate groups for private treatments. (A maximum of 10 people can be serviced at a time.) For those who want to skip traveling to the spa itself, the salon introduced a new offering in April: its signature massages at satellite outposts in the nearby Sheraton and Courtyard by Marriott hotels.
3. Adjacent to the Pool at Harrah’s, the Red Door Spa is a 23,000-square-foot facility that has 23 individual treatment rooms and a Jacuzzi by a fireplace. The spa, which opened in 2007 and won a readers’ choice award from Spafinder.com in 2008, can accommodate as many as 30 guests simultaneously, or host larger groups for staggered appointments throughout the day.
4. The Spa Toccare at the Borgata is a highly regarded 54,000-square-foot European-style complex with a salon, barbershop, and indoor pool. With 31 treatment rooms, this site offers a diverse array of services, from tri-crystal microdermabrasion for men to facials that use jade stones. Expanded in 2007, the spa is group-friendly and can also arrange for after-hours events in the space.
