This week's roundup includes Bud Light's music festival rooftop viewing deck at the first-ever Bud Light Getaway Festival in Charleston, South Carolina; a baseball bat installation for M.L.B. Assembly in Washington; superhero-theme cocktails for San Diego Comic-Con; and S.Pellegrino's Manhattanhenge viewing party in New York.

To celebrate the launch of its Taste Guide 2018, Italian mineral water brand S.Pellegrino hosted a viewing party for Manhattanhenge—an event where the setting sun aligns with the east-west streets in Manhattan—on July 12 at Tudor City Bridge. The brand partnered with chefs Daniela Soto-Innes of ATLA and Cosme in New York and Sarah Hymanson and Sarah Kramer of Kismet in Los Angeles to serve food at the event.

The first-ever Bud Light Getaway Festival took place July 14 at Riverfront Park in Charleston, South Carolina. Mosaic produced the festival, which had a branded stage and DJ booth, street-style signs pointing to various areas on the festival grounds, and a pickup truck with the name of the event.

Festival attendees could view performances from a rooftop deck at the Bud Light Dive Bar activation. Performers included Sam Hunt, Lil Jon, Dashboard Confessional, and Harry Hudson.

M.L.B. Assembly, an inaugural multi-day pop-up event showcasing designers, artists, musicians, and athletes in an exhibit curated by the league, took place July 13 to 16 at District Pier at the Wharf in Washington during M.L.B. All-Star Week. Field by Snarkitecture, an interactive architectural installation made of baseball bats and wooden billets, was on display outside the venue. Visitors were able to wander through the field of Louisville Slugger bats. On the other side, a lathe operator was creating bats from the wooden billets, which were then added back to the “field” as completed bats.

During the 118th U.S. Open Championship, which took place at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York, in June, U.S.G.A. partner American Express built its first-ever American Express Card Member Club on site. Located at the 10th hole green, the club offered card members and fans lounge seating, along with food and beverage items for purchase. The space was an extension of the brand’s marketing campaign called “Powerful Backing: Don’t Do Business / Don’t Live Life Without It;” some of the clubhouse's wall decor featured the messaging with the words “live life” spelled out in golf tees.

Inside the club, guests were able to grab essentials like binoculars and radios, play Golden Tee arcade games, and sign golf balls, which were included in an ever-evolving wall display.

Los Angeles-based C Rezende Events designed and produced a rubber duckie-theme first birthday party at the Four Seasons Beverly Hills in April. Each child received a duck-shaped backpack, which doubled as decor throughout the party.

One of the more glamorous details of the event was a vintage bathtub-turned-flower installation. White and clear balloons spilled out of it, designed to look like bubbles flying everywhere.

A dessert station included lollipops designed to resemble rubber ducks taking a bath.

For San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, Searsucker San Diego in the Gaslamp District is offering cocktails inspired by superheroes. Drinks include: the "Star-Lord," made with Pimm’s #1, basil, pressed lemon, and Pickled Carrot Extra Special Sipsmith Gin; the "Black Panther," made with Maker’s Mark Bourbon, blackberries, mint, and lemon; the "Wasp," made with El Silencio Mezcal, peach, lime, and terragon; and the "Black Widow," made with house-infused red wine, peach schnapps, Triple Sec, and fresh fruit.
