Boston supper club Yvonne’s offers large-batch cocktails that are suited to group gatherings. The specialty menu includes cocktails such as the Moscow Mule and the Long Thailand Iced Tea with a blend of rums, sweet Thai iced tea, coconut, and tapioca pearls; the regular drink menu includes recent additions such as the Pumpkin Spiced Mule with vodka, pumpkin spice, ginger, lime, and soda; and the Penicillin with blended scotch whiskey, lemon, ginger, honey, and an Islay malt float on top. Groups of 20 to full buyouts of 250 can be accommodated, and each large-batch cocktail is priced at $95 and serves four guests.

Hosts can add a personal touch to dinner tables with the new, brandable wax luminaries from Newport, Rhode Island-based Luminaccent. The luminaries, which debuted in August, come in multiple sizes and shapes, ranging from 4 1/2 to 30 inches tall, and are able to float, be suspended, or used as traditional lighting to accent tablescapes. Oil lamp or LED light versions are available depending on venue requirements. Prices range from $9 to $48 per luminary, plus the cost of customization.

For a more unconventional bar service, Oak & Rowan restaurant offers a tableside cocktail cart. The restaurant seeks to bring guests closer to the mixology side of the bar by providing background information on the drinks, including ingredient details and their different uses, explanations of the cocktail-crafting methods, and answers to guests’ questions—all staged on a rustic rolling bar cart. Groups of 18 can be accommodated, and menus, traditionally six standard cocktails, can be customized on request. Pricing is based on the spirits served.
