With the Las Vegas pool season about to get seriously under way, Caesars Palace has debuted its new Garden of the Gods complex. The property's iconic swimming and lounging area has been completely redesigned with eight swimming pools on thee tiers and luxe amenities. The new complex is available for bookings of various sizes—like the grand tasting for 2,300 at the recent Vegas Uncork’d culinary extravaganza presented by Bon Appetit—and the Juno and Venus gardens can seat 114 guests for events.

In addition to the pools, there are 44 new private cabanas, each with a stocked refrigerator, flat-screen TV, DVD player, iPod docking station, wireless Internet access, ceiling fan, and furniture. Hundreds of bright blue deck chairs, plush daybeds, and loveseat-like scoop chairs round out the look. Designed by hospitality firm Allard & Conversano, the complex makes the most of the sun; engineers precisely tracked its movement and expanded south and westward to ensure the area offers sunny and shady areas.

An 18-foot waterfall is the centerpiece of the Fortuna pool, which also has swim-up blackjack. The Apollo pool is located at the southwest corridor of the space for maximum sun exposure and has five cabanas and six canopied daybeds as well as chaises. The two invite-only Bacchus pools are framed by curved staircases and feature private shallow sun-chaise pools, an individual whirlpool, and V.I.P. cabanas staffed with butlers. The Neptune pool has eight cabanas, 10 daybeds, and chaises. The cabana-lined Jupiter pool has lower-key ambient music and large cabanas equipped to provide spa services from Qua Baths & Spa. The large round Temple pool with central fountains is right for families. And the 21-plus Venus Pool Club is a secluded European-style retreat from the folks behind Pure Nightclub.

Spa services from Qua include neck massages at deck chairs as well as full-service massages in the Jupiter spa cabana. A new menu of specialty cocktails, many made with freshly squeezed juices, was developed by Matthew Stober, the property's beverage manager and master mixologist. Rental of daybeds, scoop chairs, and cabanas is available for hotel guests and non guests.
