1. JAY Z AND BARNEYS RESTRUCTURE HOLIDAY PARTNERSHIP: The holiday marketing deal between Jay Z and Barneys New York has changed following allegations of racial profiling at the department store. While the kickoff event slated for Wednesday evening has been cancelled, the partnership will continue with 100 percent of profits from the sale of the collection going toward the rapper’s foundation (an increase from 25 percent). Women’s Wear Daily: “Jay Z said he was going forward with the collection, under the condition that he be given a leadership role and seat on a council specifically convened to deal with the issue of racial profiling.” http://bit.ly/1bKvwbt

2. ‘ANCHORMAN 2’ CONTINUES CLEVER PROMOTIONAL STUNTS: The promotional campaign for the film Anchorman 2 continues with another unusual stunt: renaming the Emerson College School of Communication after the film’s fictional star, Ron Burgundy. A celebration to mark the name change December 4 will include a visit from actor Will Ferrell in character as well as a screening of the film. New York Times: “I can’t wait to inspire students with my story of how I got to the top … the very top,” Mr. Burgundy said. “I’m not going to sugarcoat it. It’s a lot of work, especially if you don’t have good hair.” http://nyti.ms/1bVdmlA

3. A NEW TAKE ON THE EVENT PHOTO BOOTH: One couple got creative with the photo booth at their wedding, using a slow-motion feature than the typical speed to achieve an epic effect.
