A bounty of booty—the tangible kind, like a $100 gift certificate to Tourneau—was used to lure guests to the summer launch party of Mixer Events, the latest meet-and-greet events for young professionals to mingle their way to new jobs (and maybe dates). A black Armani Exchange messenger bag was filled with beautifying products including a Crest White Strips teeth whitening system, Nolita shampoo, Primal Elements cleansing bar and Annemarie Borlind self-tanner, as well as the soundtrack to the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, an Elie Tahari T-shirt, Swarovski crystal tattoos and a Starbucks coffee card. The events are produced by Flying Television and guests' $25 donations benefit New York-based charities.
