Officially opening this week as part of the sprawling CityCenter complex, Vdara Hotel & Spa is a 57-story nongaming tower with 1,495 suites. The building has a crescent shape that sets it apart from the other buildings in the complex, and it is covered with a shell of patterned glass.
The property has 10,000 square feet of meeting and conference space and a business services center; wireless Internet is available throughout. Conference space includes a 3,923-square-foot grand ballroom, three breakout rooms ranging from 800 to 850 square feet, a 442-square-foot executive boardroom with video- and audio conference capabilities, and 3,517 square feet of prefunction space. The offerings include built-in high-tech audiovisual systems with Crestron lighting, sound, and video control; drop-down high-definition projectors and screens; flexible power distribution; and full-service catering.
The hotel's suites include one- and two-bedroom penthouses that range from 500 to 1,650 square feet, and approximately 250 corner-end suites with panoramic views. The spaces have open floor plans and windows offering expansive views of the city and mountains. They also have fully equipped gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances. Personalized minibar and kitchen- and refrigerator-stocking services are available.
Dining and drinking options include Mediterranean food at Silk Road; appetizers, cocktails, and tapas at the Sky Pool & Lounge on the 40,000-square-foot pool deck; and the cocktail lounge Bar Vdara.
There is also a fitness center and an 18,000-square-foot bilevel spa with 11 treatment rooms and three relaxation lounges, including a co-ed meditation room. A 2,100-square-foot full-service salon offers services for both men and women.
