With the new CityCenter comes a buffet of options for group activities. Here's where to:
1. Entertain: Take a group to see Viva Elvis, a new Cirque du Soleil show fusing dance, acrobatics, and live music, in tribute to Elvis Presley. Group ticketing is available for 12 or more, and includes priority access to tickets (when booked at least 120 days in advance) and gifts for showgoers. Performances are held Friday through Tuesday at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Group tickets are available for $175, $150, $125, and $99, plus tax. The show opened on December 18 at Aria Resort & Casino.
2. Pamper: Treat an out-of-towner or conventioneer to a specialized "Jet Lag Relief" massage at the Vdara Health & Beauty spa within the nongaming Vdara hotel. The strong head, scalp, and full-body massage uses blended essential oils designed to dissolve the tension that comes with business travel. Lemongrass and ginger are intended to invigorate the guest. A 60-minute treatment is $140, or treat an extra stressed-out traveler or V.I.P. client to a 120-minute treatment for $250. The 18,000-square-foot bilevel spa, salon, and fitness center is located on the second and third floors of the hotel.
3. Give: Last month, a two-story Tiffany & Company was the first retailer to open at the shopping center Crystals, designed by Studio Daniel Libeskind and the Rockwell Group. Sold at the store are collections available exclusively at the new location, like a sterling silver charm bracelet with charms including a horseshoe and dice, right for a special client gift.
