Taking a closer look inside the complex, here are details on the 21-plus Venus Pool Club, the secluded European-style retreat from the folks behind Pure Nightclub that aims more for sophistication than debauchery.
The renovated space opened last month for the season with lush cabanas, oversize sun loungers, an air-conditioned bar with flat-screen TVs, and attentive staff and bartenders. Amenities include Evian mineral water misters, poolside body massages, frozen towels, and signature cocktails that include a mojito cart. The space is available for buyout, with rates varying depending on the day of the week. The total buyout capacity for a reception is about 600, and there is existing seating for 202. The capacity of each cabana is 10.
The Pure Management Group sales and catering department handles the menu. International items include teriyaki chicken satay, a trio of soft tacos, a Thai beef lettuce wrap, an open-faced Greek salad pita, and a pressed Cuban sandwich with roasted plantains.
Among the popular signature cocktails are snow cones (in flavors known as "pineapple express," "cherry bomb," and "grape explosion") made with infused Skyy vodkas.
