With the holiday season coming up, these new and recently renovated bars, lounges, restaurants, private rooms, spas, and more—even a museum—in and around Las Vegas can accommodate corporate groups small and large for company holiday parties of every type.
1.For hearty holiday fare amid a festive atmosphere, Petra serves traditional Greek recipes in a contemporary setting in the newly constructed Tivoli Village in Summerlin. The space offers views of the Red Rock Mountains and has a European-inspired courtyard. An upstairs dining room and terrace has a capacity of 100. The venue is currently under construction on an additional event space upstairs that will hold another 40. The restaurant is available for a complete buyout with a capacity of about 300.
2. The Nevada State Museum reopened at the end of October at the Springs Preserve. Function space holds 200 people and has a catering kitchen. An additional room holds another 100 people, resulting in room for 300 in all for private events. The Springs Preserve location means there is no smoking on the grounds. Private events can happen any day of the week, although the museum is only open Fridays through Sundays.
3. Rí Rá Las Vegas opened in the spring inside the Shoppes at Mandalay Place. The Irish pub includes artifacts restored in Wicklow, Ireland, and shipped to Vegas. Rí Rá has a bar that began its life in Ireland in the 1880s, a whiskey bar adorned with an original glazed jewelry cabinet from 1900, an oak floor from a whiskey distillery, and an eight-foot-tall, 500-pound carved plaster statue of St. Patrick dating back to 1850. The space can accommodate private parties of 600.
4. I Love Burgers at the Palazzo is an approachable gourmet burger restaurant. Diners can choose from among specialty burgers or create their own from a variety of toppings, including farm-fresh vegetables, smoked meats, and an array of cheeses. It also has the largest fry menu in Vegas with options including truffle-butter tossed fried Yukon Gold potatoes, London-style chips, and baked potato fries. The space holds 175 for private events and is available for buyout.
5. The full-service Spa at Ravella at Lake Las Vegas offers treatments right for pampering groups. There are 24 treatment rooms in the building, which is detached from the main hotel property for a private feel. The spa has European architecture and a lake setting. There's an outdoor terrace and meditation garden with lake and mountain views. The 30,000-square-foot spa and wellness center also has a full-service salon and fitness center. The entire spa is available for buyout for corporate events.
6. As part of its $180 million transformation, Tropicana Las Vegas resort and casino partnered with acclaimed chef Carla Pellegrino, former executive chef of Rao’s, to reinvent Tropicana’s on-site Italian restaurant as Bacio by Carla Pellegrino. Opened in the spring, the restaurant offers cuisine from the Brazilian-born, Italian-raised chef. The space is available for buyout.
7. Bratalian Neapolitan Cantina in Henderson also comes from chef Pellegrino, along with her sister Alessandra Madeira. At the space, which opened in March, there’s an Italian menu with traditional dishes, such as like pollo alla parmeggiana, and a wine list of Italian and Californian varieties. The venue is available for buyout for about 80.
8. Marbella is a new tapas bar, right off the Vegas strip, that opened at the end of October. It offers food and music from Spain and is located in the former Ruth’s Chris Steak House space on West Flamingo Road. The venue is available for buyout with a capacity of 479 in 7,000 square feet. A private dining area has room for 80.
9. In September, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino introduced its newest restaurant, 35 Steaks & Martinis. The main dining room holds 135, the bar and lounge 35, and there's a private dining area for 12. Decor accents include custom chrome-plated chandeliers suspended from the main room, as well as black pearl glass pendants and white shell sconces in the private dining area. The bar and lounge area has chrome and glass shelving. Apropos of the restaurant's host venue, rock ’n’ roll influences are seen in raw black-and-white photography throughout the space.
10. For budget-friendly holiday fare, the Barrymore opened Labor Day weekend at the Royal Resort, offering a seasonally rotating menu, signature cocktails, and a wine list with 50 selections under $50. On Convention Center Drive between Las Vegas Boulevard and the Las Vegas Convention Center, the 1,400-square-foot venue's decor uses a palette of cream, chocolate, and blue. The dining room holds 50 guests, and the fireside patio seats more than 20.
