Self Takes Workout to the Park

While the Coachella Valley Music Festival was going on in the desert to the east, a decidedly more healthful event was taking place in San Diego: On April 29 Self magazine kicked off its "Workout in the Park" event series with a schedule of fitness classes and programs in the area's expansive Balboa Park. The event went to Miami on May 6, and will travel to New York on May 13 and Chicago on May 20.
