Grammys Return to New York

April 3, 2002

It looks like NYC & Company and Mayor Mike Bloomberg's appeals for events to come to New York are paying off. According to Entertainment Weekly's Web site, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences is expected to announce at a press conference today at Madison Square Garden that next year's Grammy awards move from Los Angeles' Staples Center to New York. The last time the Grammys were held here was in 1998.
