The Big Apple Circus has opened its 25th anniversary show, called "Dreams of a City," which The New York Times called "a buoyant feast of universal fun." Performed in a tent over Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center, this year's incarnation includes a swinging trapeze troupe, a high-tossing juggler and an anxiety-inducing ladder balancer (will he fall?). The show had a crowd of event planners giggling like kids at a recent showcase put together by Wizard Events. Playing through January 12, the show can be booked for large groups and special events.
