Silverleaf Tavern to Become Lounge

The Silverleaf Tavern, the in-house restaurant at 70 Park Avenue Hotel, has closed to undergo renovation into a lounge, according to Crain’s New York Business. Though the restaurant has suffered from bad reviews, the bar is a popular spot for Midtowners. The bar and lounge will be twice the size of its former incarnation when it reopens in May, with room for 80 patrons.
