Sparks Flies to Great Performances

Former Quilty's chef and cookbook author Katy Sparks has left her post as culinary directory at Balducci's to joined Great Performances, according to The New York Times.

GP spokeswoman Shelley Clarke of Lou Hammond & Associates tells us that Sparks' role as culinary vice president was created especially for her; in that position she'll oversee menu development for both the catering division and the company's eight restaurants.
