Lure Fishbar, the popular—and super stylish—seafood restaurant beneath SoHo’s Prada store, reopened on Friday following renovations after a fire in January damaged the building. Owners John McDonald and Josh Pickard (who also plan to open Chinatown Brasserie later this month) gave their eatery a full face-lift—repairing the water and smoke damage, creating a new seating configuration, and giving it a slightly different color palette. In addition to the 150-seat main dining room, Lure now has a sushi bar in the back manned by chef Tanaka Shigenori, a 26-seat private room, a semiprivate 18-seat area near the sushi bar, and a small lounge at the front.
