Gainesville Art Show Turns 26 in November

The Downtown Festival & Art Show, a Gainesville "street festival" running from City Hall to the Hippodrome State Theatre, will celebrate its 26th anniversary November 9 through 11. The outdoor art show attracts more than 100,000 people annually to view the works of more than 250 artists, while also allowing guests to meet exhibiting artists, sample fine cuisine, and enjoy live entertainment. Nationally, the festival ranked ninth in AmericanStyle magazine and 28th in Sunshine Artist magazine this year.
