Wine Bar Opens in Orlando

Pointe Orlando is the home of The Grape set to open its doors in December. The 3,000-square-foot restaurant features a purple and brown palette and will accommodate as many as 140 guests. It has more than 150 wines available by the bottle, plus small-plate gourmet Mediterranean fare. The restaurant can be closed for private events and can arrange group wine tastings. A 900-square-foot patio can be used for events as well. —Stephanie Wilson

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is on a mission to support the return of live events and entertainment with a new outdoor theater and six-month-long festival.

Construction of the Dr. Phillips Center's outdoor theater is underway. Its debut will be marked by the opening night of the six-month-long Frontyard Festival on Dec. 5. The ongoing live entertainment fest will bring back in-person events in a safe, socially distant setting.
