Boutique Hotel to Open in Central Florida

In September, Sarasota's downtown district will be the new home of Hotel Indigo. The 95-room boutique hotel will be close to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Center and the John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Art. Each guest room will feature hardwood floors, deluxe bedding, glass-enclosed spa-style showers with Aveda products, and complimentary in-room high-speed Internet access. The hotel will also have three meeting rooms with a total of 1,150 square feet of space, with capacities ranging from 12 people classroom-style to 70 reception-style. A business center with audiovisual equipment rentals will also be available. Guests can enjoy a full-service Starbucks coffee bar at the Golden Bean Café or fine dining at PHI, all located within the hotel. —Vanessa Goyanes
