The Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, and Loews Royal Pacific Resort-all part of the Universal Orlando Resort-were inducted as members of the Florida Green Lodging program today in conjunction with Earth Day.
"We believe in being a good neighbor in all of the communities where Loews owns and operates hotels, and this includes being good stewards to the environment," explained David King, regional vice president for Loews Hotels Regional.
The company was honored for its implementation of recycling and conservation programs across the three properties and the encouragement of guest involvement in the eco-friendly initiatives.
