Offer meeting attendees snacks made with organic ingredients from local purveyors during a meeting break at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. One of the hotel’s newest menu items is an oyster shooter served in a glass of house-made tomato water—chopped tomatoes are mixed with kosher salt, garlic, jalapenos, basil, and oregano, then wrapped in cheese cloth and pressed to release the flavored liquid.


The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes has a new meeting break catering option known as “Going Bananas.” The menu includes banana, peanut butter, and jelly smoothies; banana bread with chocolate glaze; banana slices dipped in chocolate; and banana and peanut butter tiramisu.

The new adults-only South Beach Pool at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center provides a sophisticated and peaceful setting for a meeting break. The pool area is lined with large palm trees, lounge furniture, and private cabanas. The area can accommodate up to 680 people for a reception, and the configuration allows for two separate outdoor function areas.


As an alternative to basic soda or iced tea, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotel can set up a beverage station with infused lemonades. Options included lemonade infused with rosemary, lavender, or tarragon, as well as an alcoholic lemonade made with Jack Daniel’s.


Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld can do short cooking classes and demonstrations inside R Kitchen, the property’s new interactive restaurant that was added during last year's $35 million renovation. The space can accommodate up to 50 people.
