This week's roundup includes a Candy Crush-theme ball pit in Indio, California, globe centerpieces in Toronto, a bee pollen cocktail in Austin, Texas, and a 3-D press wall in Palm Springs.

The first weekend of Coachella took place April 14 to 16 in Indio, California. Jeremy Scott’s Moschino party, produced by XA, had a colorful, kitschy, larger-than-life Candy Crush theme. Guests slid into a ball pit that was made of lucite and lit from the bottom in neon.

For a spring-inspired cocktail idea, Whisler’s in Austin, Texas, offers the Queen Bee, a blend of gin, lemon, honey, and lavender bitters, all garnished with a sprinkle of fresh bee pollen.

Propel Electrolyte Water hosted a preview event for its new cross-country workout series on April 12 at Spring Studios in New York. Fitness-theme vignettes were constructed in the after-party space.

For a colorful, floral photo setup idea, PopSugar's Coachella hub at the Colony Palms hotel in Palm Springs featured a flower-covered swing in front of sponsor Ulta's logo. Agenc produced the event.

At Lucky Lounge Presents: Desert Jam at the Ingleside Inn in Palm Springs, produced by BMF Media, an eye-catching three-dimensional press wall included such all-American items as a flag and denim—placed in front of the mountain and palm tree natural backdrop.

The Taste of Home Live event series, a new national live cooking tour, kicked off April 18 at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee. Produced in partnership with WME-IMG's Fusion Marketing, the events offer interactive stations for guests including a photo booth with kitchen tools as props.

Air Canada Foundation and SickKids Foundation's second annual Wanderluxe fund-raising gala took place April 6 at 1 Yonge Street in Toronto. Designed by McNabb Roick Events, the travel-theme event featured globes as centerpieces.

Branded Air Canada plane replicas were part of the event's giant cloud ceiling installation.

At the Moschino Party, an oversize Absolut Lite-Brite-style installation allowed guests to interact by placing pieces into different slots to create their own patterns and art. The green palette was a nod to Absolut’s lime flavor.

Food & Wine hosted a V.I.P. party for the 2017 edition of its Best New Chefs on April 4 at Rock & Reilly's NYC at Renaissance New York Midtown Hotel. Mini Scotch eggs fit with the host venue Rock & Reilly’s NYC gastropub concept.
