Here's a look at Austin's new spaces open for events this fall. The new and renovated Austin venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings, and more.
A note regarding COVID-19: At BizBash, we're still committed to bringing you ideas and inspiration for when (yes, when!) events are back up and running. Some of the venues listed here may not yet be available for hosting events due to the pandemic, or they may be operating at a lower capacity.
Aba Austin

Chicago-based Aba Restaurant opened an Austin location this month. The new spot has the feel of a Mediterranean oasis, and the menu follows suit with dishes like lamb ragu hummus, house-made stracciatella, and grilled Spanish octopus. Set in Traverse Heights, the 5,682-square-foot eatery includes several settings for private and semiprivate events: The 1,500-square-foot dining room seats as many as 96 guests, and the 934-square-foot mezzanine seats 20. Outside, the 2,698-square-foot outdoor patio (pictured), which is built around a 100-year-old Heritage Oak tree, accommodates 130 seated guests or 220 for cocktail-style mixers.

Tony C’s Pizza & Beer Garden

Tony C’s Pizza & Beer Garden opened in September in Round Rock. Spanning 5,400 square feet, the 125-seat dining room features green leather booths, beer garden-style picnic tables, multiple TV screens equipped for streaming, and decor that’s inspired by New York City. The open, airy space is a new concept from the team behind Tony C’s Coal Fired Pizza and serves a similar menu as the original; think New York-style pizza and Italian comfort food like meatballs, lasagna, and charcuterie. At the bar, guests can enjoy more than 20 Texas craft beers, as well as Italian wines on tap, sangria, and cocktails.
