New York magazine's much-hyped "Gay Life Now" issue includes a "Gay Power 101" list that features a few special events industry players. On the list: PR guru and Hamptons society player Peter Brown; party promoter and Chelsea Park social director Erich Conrad (the man behind B Bar's weekly Beige party); Glorious Food catering head Sean Driscoll; fashion PR firm KCD's Ed Filipowski, who handles runway shows for Helmut Lang and Marc Jacobs; and PR artist Ethan Geto of Geto & deMilly. Also on the list: columnists and frequent partygoers Michael Musto and Liz Smith.
