Bliss—the 10-year-old spa chain that originated in New York—opens its first Los Angeles outpost this month in the W Los Angeles—Westwood hotel. Bliss Los Angeles features a retail beauty boutique, three nail stations equipped with flat-screen TVs for the easily bored, 10 treatment rooms, and men's and women's lounges in 7,000 square feet. The women's locker room has digital lockers, steam showers, and a sauna, as well as wine, cheese, cookies, and brownies. The guys' locker room and lounge (pictured) offers heated shaving cream, beer and snacks, and sports mags. —Alesandra Dubin
