
Over the weekend of July 25, Disaronno took over the Capri Hotel in Southampton, New York, to host its first "Disaronno Summer Camp." For the daytime activities, which revolved around the hotel's central pool, staffers circled not only a Disaronno cocktail cart to guests, but also summer fare prepared on site by Michelin-starred chef Joe Isidori from Chalk Point Kitchen.

Free camp-inspired food was served throughout the day, including pulled pork sandwiches, mac ‘n’ cheese, and s’mores. The space also offered a create-your-own trail mix snack station.



Staffers in black suits and eye makeup represented the show's Penguin character and during the party passed churros from Pinch that were attached to open black umbrellas.

The Boston Lyric Opera opened its 2014-15 season with the Opera Gala on October 10. The black-tie event, which drew some 300 guests, centered on a performance of Verdi's La Traviata, which tells the story of a French courtesan. In keeping with the theme, the Catered Affair prepared a French meal. The first course was a deconstructed salade nicoise with seared ahi tuna and caper vinaigrette.
