Nothing conjures the image of New York more than a big, yellow taxi, and now you can turn the city's transportation icon into event decor. The Committee for Taxi Safety coordinates drivers and cabs to arrive at events, and they can even make their way on stage (one showed up at the Grammy awards press conference). The group can also provide taxis for more traditional purposes, like transporting guests to and from events, with an added bonus: the new 2002 models feature an extra six inches of leg room. --Jill Musguire
