Nashville and New York: Sister Cities?

In a continuing cultural exchange between New York and Nashville—the Country Music Association's Country Music awards are trading Nashville for our city for the first time this year—the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes will return to the Grand Ole Opry House for 60 performances from November 17 through December 31, while another team of the famous high kickers keeps the annual show going here. At least as far as events are concerned, the disparate pair of cities seems to share a bond these days.
