Nonprofit Teams Up With Local Chefs

To benefit the students of its Culinary Arts & Education Training Program, Easter Seals of Miami-Dade has paired up with several South Florida chefs who will mentor disabled youths in a career in the food and beverage industry. The program is led by chef Edgar Leal of Cacao and includes Sergio Sigala of Casa Tua, Anthony Mansolillo and David Matlock of Art Café, Michael Bloise from Wish, Giancarla Bodoni of Escopazzo's, Adam Votaw of Chispa, Dewey LoSasso of North One Ten, Willy Hernandez of Caramelo's, and Beatrice Bajares of La Dorada.
