Having opened a 13th location on May 29, the Minneapolis-based Oceanaire franchise just added The Oceanaire Seafood Room in Orlando to a list of restaurant locations in Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Seattle, and San Diego. Near the Orlando Convention Center and in close proximity to the area's theme parks, the 8,500-square-foot venue has a high-energy atmosphere reminiscent of 1930s and 1940s seafood supper clubs, and is a viable contender in the meetings and events industry for lunch, dinner, or receptions. The facility, available for buyouts given a four-month lead time, offers Wi-Fi, an authorized audiovisual equipment provider, and an on-site sales and event coordinator. Available for small and large groups alike, the restaurant seats 280 and caters to all occasions with a moderately priced menu and friendly service. Additionally, a private dining area can accommodate 40, a semiprivate dining area can host 50 to 100, the outdoor patio seats as many as 40, and the bar and oyster bar each hold 10. The contemporary architecture includes cherrywood paneling, high-backed leather booths, and white linen tablecloths. The restaurant's wine list was created by general manager and operating partner Dore Zamoff, an International Guild of Master Sommeliers-certified first-level sommelier.
