
For the Museum of Modern Art’s film benefit on November 15 in New York, the celebrity arrivals backdrop wasn’t a step-and-repeat of logos but rather a wall of 20,000 fresh crimson-colored roses.

For its fifth annual industry event on Thursday, June 21, Raw commissioned a band of graphic illustrators to produce floor-to-ceiling graphics. The illustrations turned the empty warehouse space at 109 Ossington into an immersive pictorial commentary on the creative process behind the city’s shifting landscape.

Target Canada took over the Templar Hotel from September 6 to 8, creating a branded environment. A red carpet and a silver bus marked with the Target bull's-eye logo parked outside drew attention from passersby.

Scott Fitzgerald's novel, Frost's David Kelly worked with designers from Event Creative to hang a cluster of ornate chandeliers form the top of the dinner tent.

Grammys Special Merit Awards

For the Grammys Special Merit Awards at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre, 15/40 Productions took its cue for the lighting from the Recording Academy's invitation. The invite had a relief of an intricate pattern, evocative of, say, the style of an Indian henna tattoo in a deep wine color. The production company translated that look into the design and decor, including an ornate lighting pattern.

Seth MacFarlane Oscars After-Party

MacFarlane hosted an after-party at the Lot in West Hollywood, produced by Night Vision Entertainment. The event included a 30-foot chandelier and 72-piece orchestra, which played on stage under a dome meant to evoke the Hollywood Bowl. And Teeks supplied golden flip-flops at a coat-check-like station that invited guests to swap their heels for more comfortable footwear.

'Essence' Black Women in Hollywood Pre-Oscar Luncheon

For Essence's sixth annual pre-Oscar award luncheon, Candace Purdie Montgomery worked with Caravents to drape the Beverly Hills Hotel in a rich palette of gold, black, and slate blue, reflected in the ballroom, lounge, custom linens, screen graphics, and lighting effects. A recurring motif of ornate gold frames decked the space, from the press wall to sponsor integrations in the lounge to the stage set. For the first time, the table configuration included a mix of round and rectangular tables, making the room feel larger.

CasaBubble rents inflatable, modular spheres for events. Envisioned by French designers Frédéric Richard and Pierre-Stéphane Dumas, the transparent, pressurized bubbles can be used as V.I.P. areas, pop-up shops, dining spaces, and more in outdoor environments. UNC Paris's inflatable furniture items are now available in the U.S. under the moniker Modern Inflatables. The line includes a sofa, chair, table, pouf, deck chair, and rocking chair. Made in France from clear, recyclable polyurethane thermoplastic, the items can be rented with the company's standard range of interchangeable, colored fabric covers, which can also be custom-printed or embroidered with logos and pictures. Custom work takes at least six weeks to manufacture. Items start from $195 without covers.

Inflate USA's line of inflatable structures for events includes more than 30 different sizes and shapes, such as the Luna, designed to act as a portable bar area, and the Trident, a massive tent structure designed for concerts and expos that can be set up in less than five hours. The line includes an inflatable loveseat and chair made from a durable vinyl material designed to withstand snow, sand, and heat.
