The Mint Agency recently began handing SodaStream's public relations, so staffers decided to host a media lunch during TIFF to introduce journalists to the brand's executive team. Decor for the daytime event, held at Live at the Hive, was clean and bright.

Along with pink and orange gerbera daisies, decor included vases filled with fresh citrus fruits, Moroccan-style lamps, and displays of the SodaStream machine itself.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic celebrated the anniversary of the opening of the Walt Disney Concert Hall at its 10th Anniversary Concert September 30. The event, comprising a reception, concert, and post-concert dinner, had a “Starry Night” theme. To create a celestial look, Shiraz Events draped the top of the dinner tent with an LED star-drop curtain, which resembled a twinkling galaxy. A custom chandelier added softly glowing light, and the walls were draped with silvery fabrics.

The Women's Wear Daily Beauty Summit took place at Metropolitan Pavilion on May 21 and 22. The meeting had a sleek, all-white design from Shiraz Events. At breakfast, guests sat in clear Miro chairs at communal tables topped with white linens. The floral arrangements were simple birch vases holding cobble moss balls. "WWD aims for all summits to have an environment that is 'digital, modern, and global,' so we chose to work with the space at hand and create a futuristic aesthetic by the use of all white," said Brian Hanley of Shiraz.

Elite Productions International designed the Grammy party's floral decor, which appeared to float. The primarily purple blooms were placed at angles and varying heights for visual interest and decked the reception areas and performers' greenrooms.

The step-and-repeat at Quaker Oats' Sundance Film Festival activation was lined with stacked packages of the company's products.

The 2011 event took place at the chancery of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China. Guests exited the ball through a tunnel of 999 red Chinese lanterns, symbolizing good fortune.
