


The opening ceremony for the Pan American Games in Toronto, which run through Sunday, was held July 10 at Rogers Centre. Cirque du Soleil's special events division, 45 Degrees, created and produced a show for the opening ceremony, which used dancers, acrobats, music, and more to tell the story of Canada and celebrate the country's diversity.

ESPN’s ESPY awards, presented by Capital One, rolled into Los Angeles last weekend and brought with it many related events around town. ESPN the Magazine hosted the official Body at ESPYs party at Milk Studios. Event Eleven designed the space to feel like a photo studio with massive oversize prints from the issue. Projections evoked the look of film reels, and framed images hung in a gallery-like arrangement throughout the venue. Lounge seating had a stripped, modern feel.





Later in the evening, spotlights revealed burnt-out cars and trucks with plants spilling out of them.



Walking, talking snowflake tables greeted visitors at the Greenwich Holiday Stroll Weekend headquarters, which was sponsored by Hollywood Pop Gallery.

San Francisco-based Blueprint Studios planned a corporate holiday party in Menlo Park, California, last December that took inspiration from popular stories, such as Snow White and The Polar Express.
