William Ashley saluted the 29th Toronto International Film Festival with a window design titled "Dinner and a Movie."
With a combination of film themes, classical screen actresses, and Royal Doulton china, William Ashley created an elegant and dramatic window display, which incorporated classic theatre-style seats with Royal Doulton-inspired couture mannequins as well as a shimmering display of dinnerwear and china collections. The underlying theme for this display marked a farewell to Royal Doulton's signature china collection, "All the pretty ladies."

The use of oversize film reels and theatre seats created a truly unique display.
