Il Terrazzo by Nordstrom

Nordstrom in New York City recently unveiled Il Terrazzo by Nordstrom, a new outdoor space inspired by Italian aperitivo brand Aperol. The limited-time pop-up has transformed the Bistro Verde patio on level five into a summer haven.

It comes complete with a bocce ball court, vibrant orange-colored decor, a dedicated spritz menu featuring the classic Aperol spritz and riffs on the libation, and Aperol sorbet from NYC’s Il Labortorio del Gelato. The space is open to shoppers through Labor Day.

The expansive terrace features 48 seats and additional lounge seating and serves up culinary offerings, including small bites such as polenta fries, crisp calamari, and heirloom tomatoes with burrata.

Tennis Channel x St. Pierre Bakery French Open Celebration

The Tennis Channel and St. Pierre Bakery recently celebrated the kickoff of the French Open, which runs until June 11. On May 23, the two brands hosted a brunch featuring brioche bites, private tennis coaching, and plenty of Veuve Clicquot at the Griffin Club in Los Angeles.

The event featured St. Pierre’s signature tangerine hue, which played off the green and orange logo of the French Open. Fans can tune into the Tennis Channel to watch The French Open now through June 11.

Malin+Goetz SPF NYC Mobile Pop-Up

From May 20-21, skincare brand Malin+Goetz promoted its SPF products with help from Food Truck Promotions, which created a bright orange mobile pop-up in New York’s Madison Square Park and SoHo neighborhood.

Guests who followed the brand on social media and posted a picture at the event were given gelato and their choice of beach merch, including bucket hats, tote bags, and bandanas.

Smirnoff Locura Tour

On May 4, Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind—which features tamarind, Mexican chiles, and a hint of lemon—brought its Locura Tour to Chicago to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. To honor the flavors of the beverage, the experience was filled with sweet, tangy, and spicy bites provided by local Mexican-owned businesses. Inspired by the bottle’s label, the event featured pops of orange. It was designed and produced by Rose Gold Collective.

Aperol Spritz Piazza at Coachella

Aperol made its first-ever Coachella appearance this year with the Aperol Spritz Piazza. The cheery, photo-friendly space welcomed guests via a branded wall of greenery complete with vibrant flowers and oranges. The activation included an Aperol-branded tram designed to resemble a modern Italian city streetcar, plus a kiosk where guests could play digital trivia games or create a custom AR experience.
There was also an oversize, interactive video dome from Classic Photo Booths that had a slow-motion camera, plus a sunbeam installation made from a glowing orange mirror and neon LED lighting. Swell handled the design, production, and execution of the space, which was intended to be a modern and joyful take on an Italian town piazza. Tractor Vision handled fabrication.
