La Caravelle owners Rita and Andr? Jammet announced that Troy Dupuy, most recently executive chef of Lespinasse in Washington, D.C., will become La Caravelle's executive chef August 15. Dupuy's new menu, which will be in place by October 1, "will meld contemporary French cuisine with herbs and spices, while honoring La Caravelle's classic dishes," according to a press release from the Susan Magrino Agency. Dupuy has previously worked in Lespinasse in New York, the Quilted Giraffe, Restaurant Lafayette, Le Cirque and La C?te Basque.
