The gorgeous new restaurant Republic on La Cienega has secured myriad event bookings in its first official month. (And that’s after hosting events with the likes of Vanity Fair before its official opening.) Partida tequila will host a tasting for its Los Angeles launch there tonight, and the Strategic Group will produce Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood awards at the space on April 26 with music by DJ Samantha Ronson. (And when we dined at Republic last week, we spotted Mayor Anthony Villaraigosa, who we're told had entertained guests there the preceding Sunday.)
