Matt Wise Chooses Opus and MOCA

Venues: “We’ve had great success at Ivar Studio lately. The guys there are great—super accommodating—and the space is a blank slate. I also love MOCA for art exhibits, and the Hotel Café for music showcases. For anything food-related, we think Opus is L.A.’s as-of-yet undiscovered gem. It’s a beautiful space, the staff is amazing—including the very approachable rising-star chef Josef Centeno—and they’re open to new ideas. And Bar Lubitsch is great for anything that requires a strong cocktail upon entry.”
