Where magazine, a travel and tourism publication given away in hotels, presented its sixth annual Visitors Choice Restaurant Awards with a dinner and ceremony at the Essex House's Grand Salon. Actor and comedian Paul Provenza served as the event's M.C.
The winners: Windows on the World garnered three awards, including Best Overall Restaurant, and Brasserie, Daniel, Mars 2112, the Four Seasons, Sardi's, TriBeCa Grill and the 21 Club were also honored. The awards were designed as large dinner plates on stands by LN Marketing.

At Where magazine's Visitors Choice Restaurant Awards, Gramercy Tavern general manager Nick Mautone accepted the Best Service award on behalf of Union Square Cafe, and Windows On The World director of catering Jennie Emil proudly displayed the restaurant's three awards.

The Grand Salon of the Essex House was the setting for Where magazine's dinner and awards.

Before the dinner, the Essex House put out a table with breads and assorted foods for guests.
